<p><strong>UTICA, NY</strong> (August 8, 2011) - Looking for a little drama? Become a Stanley volunteer!</p><p>The Stanley is seeking outgoing, energetic personalities to play starring roles as <strong>Stanley Volunteers</strong> to put customer service centerstage. Our volunteers are essential to our success and serve as ushers, ticket takers, tour guides, coat check handlers, greeters, receptionists and ambassadors of goodwill to our community. Volunteers have the additional responsibility of ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment for our patrons.</p><h3><strong>Benefits</strong></h3><ul><li> Enjoy seeing many Stanley shows!</li><li> Meeting new and interesting people.</li><li> Invitations to special social events exclusively for Stanley volunteers.</li><li> And, most importantly...</li><li> Being a part of the Stanley team!</li></ul><h3><strong>Eligibility</strong></h3><p>The safety and comfort of our patrons is of the utmost importance so the basic requirements listed below are expected of our volunteers</p><ul><li> Ability to stand for 3 to 5 hours (volunteer seating may not be available during events)*;</li><li>Must be at least 16 years of age;</li><li> Tolerance to heights (you may be assigned duties in the balcony);</li><li> Willingness to work a minimum of two to three events per month.</li></ul><p>This may include ticketed or non-ticketed events (i.e., assist with mailings)**;</p><ul><li> Professional, outgoing attitude and the ability to work as a team;</li><li> Attend initial training session and other training sessions as required.</li></ul><h3><strong>Orientation and Training Sessions</strong></h3><p>Orientation and Training Sessions are scheduled for August 20 and 23.
