It was a very emotional day for me, to wrap up my six years as Executive Director (and the prior four years on the board), but with my friends, family, staff, volunteers, board and all of you who came, it really became a celebration of all we've experienced and accomplished there. Plus, the chance to check 'singing and playing guitar on stage at The Stanley' off of my bucket list: priceless! I leave The Stanley now in the very capable hands of the new Director Lisa Wilsey, and I promise to stay involved with our beautiful, historic Stanley Theater (after a little R & R in the Sunshine State!).
