<p>The Central New York All-Stars will perform at The Stanley Theater in Utica on Friday, August 9th<sup>th</sup> at 7:30p.m. as a tribute to the 50<sup>th</sup> anniversary of the Woodstock Music Festival.</p><p> </p><p>The Woodstock festival of 1969 celebrates its 50th Anniversary this summer and The Stanley Theater in Utica has a special concert planned to showcase the music of Woodstock, performed by our local singers and musicians in The Central New York All-Stars!</p><p> </p><p>Over 25 members of the local music scene will take turns performing some of the biggest songs by the original artists that were at the Woodstock music festival. Included will be tributes to The Who, Santana, Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young, Janis Joplin, The Grateful Dead, Jefferson Airplane, The Band, Blood, Sweat & Tears, Joe Cocker, Mountain and many more!</p><p> </p><p>The Central New York All-Stars have appeared at the Stanley Theater three times previously as the opening band for Joey Molland of Badfinger/British Invasion Tribute, Savoy Brown/Blues-Rock Tribute and recently with Rael- The Music of Genesis, performing a Progressive Rock tribute set. This is an evolving group of local musicians that take turns singing and performing the different songs on the night’s schedule. The response from the crowd after each of these shows was the same: “You need to present a full night of the Central New York All-Stars.” Well, we heard you loud and clear.</p><p> </p><p>This Woodstock tribute show will solely feature the Central New York All Stars, including members from such bands as The Justice McBride Band, Simple Props, The Bomb, Last Left, Soul Injection, Two of Us, Nineball, Thunderwatt and many more. The concert is being produced by Jerry Kraus along with music director Mark Sisti. The audience will be encouraged to dress in their Woodstock apparel and get into the spirit of ‘Peace and Music’, just like the original festival. Proceeds will benefit The Stanley Theater.</p><p> </p><p>Members of The Stanley can purchase tickets for the special price of $20.00, offer only available at the box office.
